Bergamo Scienza: caccia all'informazione - Biblioteca di Trescore Balneario

Chi ha segnato l’ultimo gol della mitica “Italia-Germania 4-3”? A chi è attribuita la scoperta dell’ossigeno? Come si chiamava il primo gruppo di Ligabue? A queste e altre domande si dovrà rispondere in una specialissima caccia al tesoro dove il tesoro è…la giusta informazione! Teatro della sfida in cui si confronteranno due o più squadre, sarà la biblioteca, dove non solo si possono trovare libri, giornali, film o fumetti, ma anche computer per navigare in internet e per accedere ai cataloghi on-line, enciclopedie cartacee e digitali, e in più, la competenza del bibliotecario, vero esperto cacciatore dell’informazione, per conoscere un nuovo modo di utilizzare la biblioteca e per capire quando è utile internet o quando, a volte, è più semplice ed efficace affidarsi a un buon libro. Dopo una breve presentazione delle “armi” a disposizione, comincerà la sfida, anzi, la caccia!

Hunt for information

Which player scored the last goal in the legendary “Italy – Germany 4-3”? Who discovered oxygen? What was the name of Luciano Ligabue’s first band? Participants will have to correctly answer these and other questions in a very special treasure hunt where the treasure is.... the right information! The venue of this challenge where two or more teams go head to head will be the library which stores not only books, magazines, films and cartoons, but also computers to surf the Internet and to search online catalogues, and traditional and digital encyclopedias. Moreover, the venue is also the home to a librarian, a true expert in the hunt for information and someone who can guide people to a new way of using the library and understanding when the Internet is the best resource or when, at times, it is easier and more effective to rely on a good book. After a short presentation on the tools available, let the challenge, or better the hunt, begin!
